Just to let everyone know Calli and Bun are hitting it off. Yay!!! They are 'southern sista's'! I LOVE it!!!
Bunny is on the way to potty training... zero accidents lately so progress is fantastic! 🎉🎉🎉 yippee!!!
Calli stays home out of her crate when I go to work and does sooooo 'paw-some'! I filmed her yesterday with my "spy-cam" and she barked a bit like "where are you??" then hopped up on her fav comfy love seat and snoozed till I got home. 😴
So all Pups are GREAT here and later today I'm taking Miss Bunny-ears to Petsmart for a little t-shirt shopping, lol! A girl needs a shopping spree every so often!!! 👛👚🎀🛍!!! So check back for the modeling of doggy clothes post! 😍

Cal-Pal
I have not blogged for a while on Calli. She is my other foster dog. If you scroll a ways back you can find her. She is fantastic!!! Adorable! Potty trained! Calm! Sweet! Lovable! Etc! I love everything about Calli. I am told she does not like crates. I guess I never used one so I didn't know. She only has one issue to know about and that is she can get snarky with other dogs. I think she just kinda likes her stuff (maybe it's a bit of guarding of her stuff prob) and she rules the roost. So we think a house without another dog 'might' be best. I guess it all depends on the 'other dog' as I did hear she has had some very good dog friends she played with at the Doggy daycare. Here I just watch her and she's doing great. Our house rule is to respect each other. :)
As far as people you can't get any better. She adores me and she likes my husband very well but he had to work a little at gaining her trust. I also think Calli is more than adorable! Don't you?!? 💋

Yes... Bunny IS a snuggle bunny!
She's fun! Somebody is going to get a FUN girl. No she's not a Shih tzu. No she's not a Poodle. No she's not a Yorkie. Those are usually the popular breeds. She's better!!! She's a bunny! A snuggly, sweet, fun, good mannered Bun Bun! I wish people would read instead of look only at photos! She's a great pupster and nobody else has golden eyes! So there! 😊

Bunny had a bath in my bathtub and did GREAT! She didn't move!! Scrub a dub dub.... nice n squeeeeeky clean! 🛁
By the way... she is not much of a shedder. That's a plus!!!
I also weighed her and she is 17 lbs. I think she has some Jack Russel in her but is not too energetic. A sweet house puppy!

So last night we had a good thunder storm. Booooom! Bunny did fine but it woke her up and she started to whine. So I took her downstairs and put her kitchen crate right next to the couch and put a blanket over the top. I put my hand down so she could lick my fingers. Then she settled down and we both fell asleep till morning. So note to self: *Put Bunnies crate right by my side of the bed with a blanket over the top.* Then if thunder storms wake her up she will still feel safe.

to answer your ?'s...
So here is the scoop on some ?'s u might have...
Is Bun potty trained?
Not yet but things are going really really well!!! When we get up in the morning I take her outside. She goes potty right away. Then we come in for breakfast which she gobbles up. Then right away outside for the poop finale. Ta Da.... DONE! 💩 I take her out after I get home from work and walk her after supper. She had a couple accidents the first day but now she is catching on! I do not allow her upstairs--not yet. She has to stay on the first floor unless we are going to bed. I have a fenced yard and trained dogs who also show her what to do. They are good mentors, lol! 😋
Is Bunny crate trained?
Bunny uses a crate when I go to work. I usually just pick her up and put her inside. She is good about going in initially. I supply her with things to chew and a few treats! She loves cow hooves and Nyla bones and Kongs with peanut butter and treats inside. She is quiet when I first close the house door. I know Bun is not fond of her crate later on though. She starts whining and pawing but it's a safe place for her right now so she will have to put up with it. Maybe later she won't need it. We will see... When I come home she is a wiggly excited pup and is going nuts to get out and say hello mommy! 😊 Her crate is clean and dry --yay--but sometimes she pushes the tray out. So I have to say a crate is not her favorite hang out!
Does Bunny chew up your stuff?
No, bunny only chews up her own stuff-- bones and hooves etc. Bunny does not chew up soft toys. She's a girl with good manners! I LOVE that!!!! She does like to drag socks around if she finds them. Not to chew but just to scatter about. Maybe if everyone picked up their socks she wouldn't do this! Ya think?😏
Where does Bunny sleep?
In a crate by my side of the bed. She is good.. snores less than my husband! Wakes up a little early but if I say 'Shhhh' she goes back to sleep. Once she is potty trained she could sleep where ever! Maybe even on your cold feet!!! 👣
How is Bunny with other dogs?
She's great but can also be a little bit of a "I want the people to myself" girl. So she may block off my dogs with her body or pop her head under them for petting. Ha!!! Funny!!! Kinda like a toddler "mine mine mine"!! There is some slight grrrs but it's typical 'new foster' stuff. Once she relaxes she will be better at sharing. I see it all the time because foster dogs are just so happy to be in a home!

After this little play session of 'ball-zoomies' Bunny wanted to go in the house and relax! Ha! She is just the right amount of fun in my book! She was also so happy to see me today after work!! I love wiggly happy hellos! You will never ever feel unloved with a 'Bunny Doggy' at your home!!! 🐰🐶
Eventually: Bunny ends up on her Pillow Pile!!!! 😍 I ❤️❤️❤️ how much she loves pillows! She's like the princess and the pea... pile them high!!! 👸🏻!

Bunny is FUN!
Bunny is just so fun! She is also friendly and sweet--although if you bend over her she sometimes will crouch down like she's afraid--for the most part though, she is confident and happy.
Bun would make a fun doggy for a young family or for anyone who wants a sweet dog pal to hang out with! Bunny is not hyper but has a nice balance of zoom and zzzzzzz! 💓
