Hello Butchy lovers!!!
Butch and I took a trip to visit my elderly father. It was a wonderful opportunity for Butch to shine! He was so GOOD!!! All my dad’s neighbors loved Butch. My aunt and uncle loved Butch. My dad thought Butch was a very special dog!!! He is invited back any time!!!
Butch made himself at home right away! No potty accidents at all! He was calm and polite. He sniffed around but never touched a single thing. Butch was friendly to all the people he met and never got into any mischief! He cuddled by me in my child hood bed and learned to catch cheese curls my dad tossed his way! Haha!!! What a FUN time!!!
Butch is a wonderful companion!!!! Please consider him as a forever dog in your home. You will fall in love! I guarantee it!!!

We took a trip to Pet smart and then to Pet Supplies Plus. Butch did great. Since he’s not dog friendly I just put him in the cart. Butch NEVER barks at dogs and I went during the day on a Monday so traffic in stores was lite. He enjoyed the trip.
We came home with a new harness that matches his collar. He was not fitting into my red one correctly as his leg would slip through. It was too big.
We actually had to go to Pet Supplies Plus to find a harness to fit correctly. He took an extra small which sounds weird. It ran big. The last picture shows the brand!!!

He is house trained which is so nice. We all took another walk this afternoon. He always walks nicely and politely with my two dogs. I guess when everyone is on a leash he does not feel threatened.
Everyone ate supper and now we all are just settling in to relax. Ahhhh... so cozy!

Costco run...
Butchy rode along to Costco. Sat in my doggy car seat like a champ. Then waited for me curled up on my drivers seat. Who needs a seat warmer? It was toasty when I got in the car. He is a wonderful passenger!!!
Bath night:
Butch was so great in the tubby!!! Afterwards I dried him with a towel. Then clipped a few stray furs (not hairs) 🤣

It’s a snowy Tuesday here in Green Bay. This morning I took Butchy for a walk around the block and he did great walking in the snow... he did not mind it at all. I greased up his paws with some paw protectant and put a little coat on him and away we went!
We went on a second walk when I came home from work… it was getting pretty cold by then and so very windy but he walked great. When Butch sees a squirrel he does pull, a ‘typical terrier’ and he has the terrier ‘chase it’ drive! So no kitties in the house. He is just a little guy so it’s not a big deal if he pulls after a squirrel... my dogs do this too.

Here he is walking in the snow early morning. He needs a bigger coat, lol. I’ll have to look in my dog closet for a better fit!

Butch is a wonderful friend and house dog. He loves his mommy and family. Adores his home. He snuggles and cuddles. He is very good in his crate. I don’t know if I can declare that he’s potty trained but he seems to be! We just love Butch.

Just look at this little man! He’s about 17 lbs. A terrier mix. Maybe 4 years old. He has the classic underbite of a Shih Tzu. That tuft of fur!!! Ha ha! So fun!!! How SWEET is that face? 😁
He’s a lover. Big time snuggle bug! Mommies are #1!!! Even wants to be carried sometimes. ❤️
Butch is looking for LOVE and seeking a tight bond with his family or person! He will almost instantly become your little lover-boy! He has given me so many kisses! As I type this he is draped across my lap and he’s so happy! He loves men, women and older kids. I only say older because I do not have young children at my house. (He could certainly be fine with every age? I don’t know.)
Butch loves toys! Oh goodness...that little ‘red squeaker’ that you see in his pics became an instant favorite here! He squeaked and squeaked! Butch loves to be inside a home too. He runs up and down the stairs and jumps onto the couch for cuddling. He goes out to potty but then runs right back in. I think he just doesn’t want to lose his family ties.
When Butch pants he hangs his tongue to the side. Really too adorable!!! Did I say ‘adorable’?.... yes, Butchy has a unique and fun little look but I cannot get enough of that face! Just LOVE it!!! Those toofies and that mop-top... he should be on a runway! I adore his sassy style! 🙂
From the moment he arrived Butchy just ran in here and owned the place! He’s not shy or skittish. The one thing that Butch needs ‘less of’ in his life are dog friends. I believe he would be best as an only dog in the home. He has waited this long and sharing is not on his agenda. It’s ok to be an only child!
