Happenings...

GOOD morning!!! Snuggles on the couch this AM with foster mommy after a great night sleeping in the crate next to her bed. Pope is quieter than a mouse at night!!! Not one peep or whine. In the morning PoPo ate his delish foodies for breakfast and then went outside for a potty and poop. He is just a total dream pup!!! 💕

He deserves some smooches for good behavior!

PoPo had great day today. He deserves a tummy rub :)!!! I took off of work and spent most of the day at home putting away Christmas decor. This little man helped, LOL! He enjoyed tearing into the wrapping paper and enjoyed carrying around a few things that were No No's! They looked like toys to him!!! Other than that he really did help by keeping me smiling at him all day! :) We started his potty training and he is doing super. He is wearing a belly band until he is trained. It is kinda like a boy dog diaper!

So far Pope is adjusting like a total champ. He is learning to climb the many stairs we have in this ol' house. He certainly is fine with food. Likes sweet potato, apples and carrots. He is not fussy. He gobbles up his kibble really quickly. Pope is a little hesitant about coming in the back door yet but that is a very common fear with rescue dogs. In a short time he will be zooming in!!! Crossing that threshold can be a bit scary.
Pope has started to play a bit more today. He likes squeaky toys and things to chew... for a young puppy he is very well behaved!!!  He shares toys nicely. He is a laid back dog but I am seeing his personality come out a little now, which is fun!  He is very loving. He attaches quickly to his person and has been following me everywhere. He is a very, very sweet boy!!!
