Took Bob to this dog friendly beer n wine bar in Suamico. It’s located in the northern area of Green Bay. Here we are at the entrance!

These two photos were taken in the car on the way. Bob is a quiet and awesome car rider!

Haha! He actually did lick our glasses! Silly Bob! The place was so busy with big dogs we were not able to put Bob down or let him loose because the big dogs surrounded him and Bob got scared, tucked his tail and growled. It’s not easy being a little shrimp! ☹️

He sure was CUTE in his Christmas sweater! Too bad this place did not have a small dog area! I don’t think we will go back but it was fun to try it out!

So what’s new with Bob? He was a star at Thanksgiving! Bob loves people so would do great with a big family. He was a snuggly hit with everyone. When I needed him out of the way I just crated Bob in the kitchen and he was quiet and napped. 

Thanksgiving Day on the lap of one of my guests. She loves Bob!!! 

Today, Bob is enjoying the warmer weather and loves to zoom around my yard and snoop through the leaves! He grabs his favorite sticks and races around like he has found a prize and must show it off! As soon as I open the door he runs into the house! He loves his people even more than his prized sticks!

Bobby helped get me in the Christmas spirit with his festive holiday clothing ...so I decorated my front porch for Christmas. Bob supervised by watching out the screened door. He was a very good pup as I was busy being creative! Lol!!! Bob got a big chew bone as a reward. He was very good about having it and did not growl over his special treat! Nice temperament! Mr. sweetie-pants!

Monday Fun-Day

Here is Bobby and with his sock monkey...another favorite toy! Maybe it has to do with the color!!??!!
He had a super good day! Potty training is going very well! Bobby definitely knows where the treats come from in the kitchen!!!
Bobbers is a total hoot zooming around the back yard. He loves to do cute deer leaps over the half frozen plants around the patio! He’s also a zippy-skippy as he flys around the hair pin turns he makes when showing off his athleticism.
Bob so wants my older dogs to play with him but my dogs are fuddy-duddies and don’t exactly reciprocate in the play bows and waggy tailed hops. Sneakily, Bob sometimes pulls my dog Asti’s tail... oh does she give him ‘the look’!
Bob is always a cuddler. Any time - any where! It’s fantastic! He’s just very special!!!
We all just love this little rusty colored squirrel! I know you will too. 💚

So Bob tried a walk today WITH my dogs and really no go. Lol! I carried him. He’s just not ready! Too scared of the unknown sounds. The best he did was the first day and now he stops and freezes too much. So I do have a Pet stroller and also a dog carrier back-pack so I think I’ll just use those for this pup!  Luckily I have a fenced yard and he’s great about zooming around the yard for fun!

End of day... all tuckered out!

Snow is here...

Bob is from Alabama so SNOW is new to him but so far he does not even seem to mind it. That’s great because it’s only the beginning of the snowy season! Isn’t Bobby adorable in his Eddie Bauer doggy jacket!?! 

He will probably own a wardrobe of clothes once adopted! At least with me he would! Ha!!!

Bath

Today it’s a COLD morning and we put on the gas stove and are now feeling toasty. One of the cutest attributes about Bob is his desire to keep his nose warm! Awwwww! He’s ADORABLE!!! 

Last night Bob had a bubble bath! He did so great and oh it was soooooo nice to have a short haired dog to dry off! He smells delicious!!! Plus how fun would it be to have a collection of cute collars for him?!? I’m holding back from looking in the dog isle at the pet store because I know I will be tempted to purchase Bob way too many things! Lol!!!

We are working on potty training. If I am diligent to watch him closely he does well. I know his pattern and his cues now when he needs to go out. It’s lots of repetition and practice. Always being positive. 

This is Bob’s favorite toy! He carries it around and even hides it... ‘for safe keeping’.

Bob likes to play with toys! He likes zooming around the yard too! He pounces on blowing leaves! 🍁 #cute I hope Bob finds a home before Thanksgiving! We love having him here but wouldn’t it be fun to have a pup to share your turkey with? ‘‘Tis the season for #family! 

Bob slept with me last night in bed! He was perfect. So snuggly!!!

Bob is settling into a routine. Everything going great! He’s a fun pup who is a cuddler! A mommy boy for sure but loves everyone else too.

Bob went for a walk today without my dogs. That is so much scarier. He wasn’t sure about doing it but he did it! What a brave peanut!

Walking the Block with Bob!

Bob did his first walk...was just too cute trying to keep up with the big dogs! Those ears!!! 😊

He made it 3/4 around and he was starting to slow down. I then carried him. Didn’t want to over do it with the recent neuter. He is supposed to be taking it easy! Plus he was shivering. Next time he wears his coat! 

One other update is Bob slept in the crate in our bedroom last night. Reason why is after spending the whole weekend with me he missed me and started to whine in his crate down in the kitchen. So, we brought him upstairs to a crate we keep in our bedroom for our fosters and he slept quietly all night happy as a clam! Bob’s crate was dry in the morning again. He gobbled up his breakfast and did all his ‘business’ quickly outside right after he ate. Bob is such a KEEPER! ❤️💙❤️💙

We had been outside a while and little B. was ready to go in the house but first wanted to show you how CUTE and tiny he is!!! He gets the cutest wrinkles on his forehead at times too! 💙

Sun 🌞 Day

Good morning!

Bob had another good night here!

Today we introduced the vacuum. I vacuumed a bit. He stood at a distance and watched. I’d stop it and pet and praise him in a happy voice saying, ‘good boy’! Then I’d go to my vacuum and begin again. I moved him out of the room I was vacuuming so he would not get frightened. Never come at puppy/dog with the vacuum or put him in a cage and vacuum around it! How scary would that be? No escape! I like to have my dogs go to a different room when I vacuum and stop and give pets during the process so it’s not scary. Bob received a treat when I was finished. He likes dried sweet potato strips. He is not a milk bone guy. He did great!! 

Bobby has tried to lift his leg a couple times on furniture and I just say no and he stops. He’s learning. Doing very well!!! I take him outside often and he always goes potty... it just takes consistency and time and positive praise! Treats too! Is he potty trained? NO... he’s a pup. He’s “in training”! All in all Bobby is an AMAZING and SWEET puppy! So gentle! Not mouthy at all. Loves to pounce on toys and shake them. He’s soooooo fun and cuddly!
